Which exhaust should i get?? Please help
Hey guys,
So I found a few good deals on exhausts that I thought i would like. I am down to aam 3inch single, tanabe super medallion hyper(discontinued), and the regular tanabe medallion. They are all around the same price range, all slightly used. Which one is a better buy for my money? I like all three, and wouldnt mind installing either of the three, but would like to know which one I am getting the better deal on in terms of monetary value. To make it clearer to understand, if they all cost 500 each, which one should I get i wanted to get the best deal? I tried looking up their retail value, and how they go for used on the marketplace. One aam sold for 450 with aam y pipe, while the super hyper sold for 450 also, but without a y pipe. Thats all I could find, thanks.

I'm in the sane boat! Where is this AAM single for sale at I'm in the market for a single! Yet I too want to have someone give preference on what to get to complete my exhaust to my AAM test pipes and y pipe.
Op, to answer your question I'm leaning more to the AAM

Comes down the style and how loud of a system you're will to deal with, from the choices that you've given.
I'm sure you know which of the three you've listed is the loudest set-up.

to the OP, i would really put a lot of preference to looks if you can't decide.
you ultimately make the decision.
i would prob go w/ AAM but thats just me.
hmm, i guess i wasn't too clear. I like all three, and I know which one sounds the loudest. All three look and sound great to me, stock look, and single canister look, i like them both. I wanted to know, if you were picking the best bang for the buck, which would you chose? For example, if there was a used motordyne shockwave for the same price as a aam single, obviously the motordyne is the best bang for the buck, since its a lot more expensive, even if the used price may be the same. Thats all im asking, just its monetary value. I ask because the hyper is discontinued, and can't be bought anywhere, but the aam is still in production, but is a cheaper exhaust, so just asking.

if all same price, i'd go w/ tanabe. looks classy, has nice tone.
you're not going to be able to compare gains between the exhausts.
tabane: classy look, subtle
AAM: single look if your into that, saves weight
