Default Nismo R-Tune Headers or cheap Ebay?

like the title says, iam in the market for some headers and i can pick up a used set of nismo r tuned for around $800 or i could get some cheap ebay megan racing ones for half that. What do u guys think? Will there be a real big dif between the two? I would rather pay more and get more but im not 100% sure if one is more superior then the other

I think the Nismo one is worth the cost if you're going to be seeking more power in the future. If you're content at where you are and are most likely not going to squeeze any more power out of your VQ, then the cheap Megan Racing ones are fine if you can live with eBay parts on your car.

Srsly? NISMO forsure why go with something thats cheaper and lower quality when you have a sweet deal right infront of you. Nismo is one of the best and you know it wont fail. Get ittttttttt!!!

Headers don't add enough power to justify in either case - scrap them both.

Go cheap. Put the cheapest crap you can find on the car.

Are ebay headers even worth installing? I'm guessing there was very little research if any in the design and I would be willing to bet your chances are just as good to lose power.

^ depends on what you are putting them on. if you are adding headers to a stock engine, prob not worth the headache for that instal. if you are putting them on a fully build, heavy modded vq, you better believe they are more than worth it, they are a necessity

Neither, especially if you go turbo.

In that case you might want custom headers with runners properly sized for the mods done... HR headers are fine... I had headers on my revup and the money spent between the headers, the tune and the install was "too much".
at that price point is way more worth to go for cams.

headers MAYBE 3/4 WHP...
right cams at least 15 to 20 WHP... (after tune)...
