wonder if these would fit on my 2007 hr 350z... i know most say headers arnt worth it but i can get them off a friend for a very cheap price.
You mean the ones on Kijiji that you didn't provide a link to? I think I've heard before that DE headers don't fit on HR's. Not certain, though.

the exhaust ports on the engine will line up...the two big concerns are:
1) flanges between header & stock cats -- they're different between the DE and HR, so if you change your HR exhaust mani out for a DE, you'll need to swap the cats/test pipe/HFC out with a DE one as well. So this is resolvable.
2) Clearance issues....steering linkage changed in either 06 or 07 (maybe both)? Also potentially other clearance issues. So the header will fit the engine...but not necessarily the surrounding bits and pieces...it's a case-by-case basis with every DE header as to whether it will clear different areas in an HR.
All that said, the collector on those headers looks like poo. The primaries enter the collector abruptly, and one of them is at a severe angle. At that price, I'm sure the primary piping is just being dumped into a larger pipe, with the "holes" filled with solder....I can't imagine they would flow better than stock HR manifolds...some headers, sure. Just not these.

Unfortunately, it's not that simple, b/c nobody really knows in the case of the HR...
1) Not many HR's were sold prior to Nissan replacing them with the 370z
2) Aftermarket companies therefore didn't have much incentive to make headers for the HR
3) DE headers may fit, but...
4) Headers are a total PITA to install on a Z. Much more tedious than on most cars. So...
5) Not many people are willing to be the guinea pig and either buy a DE header that won't fit, or...
6) Be the guinea pig to buy an HR-specific header that there are no guarantees that you'll see gains. Or...
7) They'll install the headers, but they didn't do a before & after dyno, so there is no proof that they actually did anything.
It's a numbers game against the HR, unfortunately.
(small number of HRs) * (limited choice of headers) * (% of people that mod their cars) * (% of Z owners that would go through the trouble of installing ANY type of header) * (% of people that install stuff that actually do a before/after dyno) = very, very low chance that you'll find any definitive info on any given header.
edit: It's difficult to tell if headers will show gains, especially on an HR which already has much better stock manifolds than the DE. However, I can tell just by looking at those headers that they won't do much, if anything, for you, and could very possibly lose you power....I myself was looking at some Crawfords (proven to be the best of the shorty headers for the DE), but nobody could tell me if they'd fit an HR.
