I am a Borla owner, and I would not buy it again. I had trouble getting the tips aligned and I keep getting rattles. I have called Borla and emailed David Borla, to ask for suggestions and they have not returned my calls or emails.

Yes, the exhaust was professionally installed, and they keep trying to tweak it.

I know one other Borla owner and he gets rattles as well.

Morris, have you tried changing your rubber stoppers on the hangers to stiffer ones? The stock ones are really soft and thus give the exhaust a lot give and room to move. I had the same problem, and cured it instantly.

I feel like I'm losing sleep over which system to get....

If the stock exhaust sounds great and performs great, would it be of any benifit to just get the nismo headers and RT cats, but keep the stock exhaust? How would it sound?

Rob

that would sound great.. just louder...

but... change the headers / high flow cats / and y-pipe and leave the rest of the stock exhaust and you will be great

headers wont yeild as much gains perdollar though. Very expensive install. Maybe just do RT Cats and Nismo exhaust, and it will be bliss.

Morris:

Get the installer to tack weld each joint. that should stiffen it up and hopefully stop the rattling, etc.
