It will be nuts! I am curious to try it too, but am afraid of the outcome with test pipes

can anybody who has actually went from TDX V1 to TDX V2 chime in on how much louder V1 was? Should I expect a huge difference?

Bumping an old thread.

According to this thread the Db level for TDX2 with ART pipes is 114Db at 1meter. Correct?

I'm getting ART pipes for my TDX2 and I was wondering what the Db level is on the TDX2 with stock cats?

Great response guys! lol. I realize it's not super relevant information, I'm just curious how much louder my exhaust will be once I install the ART pipes

So, the best description would be to say that it's a kind of 'muted' sound in comparison?

That 'raw' sound you hear in V8's when you hear an old one with no cats, that extra sound is what you get with ART pipes, so with cats, it's obviously quieter, but more accurately it's going to be a softer sound.

Cool, that's what I was expecting from watching youtube videos and comparing ART pipes to how my car sounds now. Ordered the ARTs last night! Already have the catted mid pipes sitting around waiting to be installed.

F2CMaDMaXX nailed it. It's super raw and rumbly now. And holy cow anything past 4k rpm is pure music!

Most exhaust shops can't work out the adjustments.

You have to have the last two clamps loose and then rotate the pipes until it fits. Once you have it where you want it. Hold it in place and tighten the clamps. It helps if you have 2 people
