My ish is loud enough with 2.5" TP & TD to keep me from going WOT without checking for cops first. I can't imagine going any louder in a car that wasn't dedicated to track use.

Go for it OP & then I want to see you at Cars & Coffee or some other events to hear it.

I remember a recent thread of a joker that did what you are talking about.

He had a video/sound clip.

Had these huge twin pipes---coming too far out the back.Looked to be about 6" in diameter.
The car sounded like ****.Was backfiring like a 1950 pick up truck.
If you did this, where are you planning on driving it?
The cops will know you by your first name.

ive seen the other guys thread but its a little diff than what i was talking about... dont think his are true duals just straight piped with no muffler.. im gonna talk to a local muffler shop this week once my car is out of the body shop and if it is cheaper than a agency power with test pipes ill do it!

It might not be cheaper due to labor...you might wanna look into motordyne dual exhausts cause they sound exotic with test pipes! Motordyne's setup is straight pipes except the box that holds the muffler at the y/h pipe connection. I would advise that rather than a shop just welding pipes together it might be very harsh with no refinement like motordyne. I'm speaking highly of there setups because I've heard and driven a few in person. They truly are the best...

I had just ART pipes running on my car for a few days while I was building my exhaust, and it's WAY too loud. Trust me. It sounds great at idle, but you can't go above 2k RPM without your head feeling like it's gonna explode from the drone. I was also paranoid that I was going to get pulled over at any time. You will regret it after day 1...

update! greddy ti-c must be designed for stock height z's... when i put mine on my resonator was on the ground.. its almost twice the size as the stock one.

i couldnt justify just ripping it off driving so i took it right back off! so i went to my local shop and ordered a 4in vibrant truck/suv tip! i still have my cats and stock resonator so its not loud and raspy at all! i actually love the way it sounds and dont know if i will change it!! lol
