pop charger

03FIDDYZ,
Yeh, it is really tough, but it will fit in if you push harder.
It is better on to shield more hot air.
The tougher one for me was to drill two holes on the duct to tighten the shield.

There were a couple occasions when I got home, I checked pop-charger's temp, it is kind of warm,
And the metal part on its head is hot and the heat shield is pretty hot.
Is there anyone has better solution on this, to make a better shield of pop-charger.
Thanks,

Great buy!
After reading about all kinds of mods for 2 yrs, I finally invested in one. The JWT Pop-Charger is a great investment. Received it yesterday afternoon & put it on last nite after work. It was an easy install & as soon as your done, you have a more aggressive sound & you can feel a little increase in power. The big sound difference for me seems to be between 4750-5000RPM's I have mixed feelings on the high pitched whistle sound ? Kind of neat, because it's different for now...but, may get annoying in the long run??? Either way, totally is worth $109 I did not use screws either into the existing front air-duct...did not see strong enough reason to make holes in it...just in case I need to put stock back on for any warranty issues that may arise? Anyway, this all may be too long, but there's my 2 cents or ($109). Hope to see some of you @ "The Dragon" in Oct. Ciao, Sunset

I bought my car in for an A/C TSB and they had no issue with the popcharger. They uninstalled it to get to the A/C compresser and installed it back.
PS: I didn't add the 2 screws on the snorkel either

Stickers?
Has anyone put the stickers on the top black rubber-foamy flap thingy, like in the pictures If so, have they stayed on over time ? Was going to get some feedback from some ginney-pigs, before waisting them in a failed attempt? Thanks.

Damn right! You have to put the stickers on the "black rubber-foamy flap thingy", that's the most important part. The Horsepower gains only kicks in after the sticker is used. I did a dyno before and after I put the sticker on and I gained at least 5 whp!
I onced raced this 350Z with tons of stickers on it's exterior and I got walked badly! I'm thinking of using my Transformers and Mutant Ninja Turtle stickers from my youth on the car to gain some horsepower.
And yeah, they haven't come off and it's been 2 months now.

Well, the tubing is stock.. The Stock Z tube does not absorb heat like the CAI tubing...
The Dual Stack Velocity filter is HUGE and brings in alot of air.
Less heat, lots of air, yummy for the engine
If you are going to go with a cold air intake. go with the NISMO because it comes with the water diverter. Without it, driving in rain will be a risky deal....
