Isis True Dual? Exhaust Ideas need opinions!
Okay I've done my search. Not one thing. Not one sound clip. Only thing I found was on G35driver but I want people's insight on their Z if they have it.
Had HKS before sold it thinking I was selling the car but keeping it now and want new idea for exhaust.
Debating on dropping the $550 on this or going with a Nismo catback which I really love. Or Fujitsubo cat back. Input greatly appreciated!

I think you should at least put $1,000 into an exhaust system. You'll get more selection and better quality and sound. I have yet to buy a new system, but I am looking at either the GReddy Turbo Ti-C or the HKS Hi-Power.

ISIS is much more of a 240sx brand, I know about them, and they are a knock off brand, but actually have pretty good quality, and if you are talking about the exhaust I think you are

Then you can get the same exhaust on ebay for $400 shipped, I am currently running the godspeed one and I don't have any complaints, but plan to go to something different in the future

Just for anyone who saw the Isis exhaust, for the hell of it I ordered one and plan to install at some point this weekend, I'll have install pics, and hopefully a decent sound clip or two for comparison. There was NOTHING on Youtube with a 350Z running this exhaust.
Personally, I know Isis makes some quality parts. Known mostly for 240's with SR motors and a few replica RB motor parts, their quality is very good. We'll see how the install of the exhaust goes, and you guys can chime in with opinions, etc.

Install this Sunday...I'll have the pics up late Sunday night or Monday morning. Exhaust arrived yesterday...welds were all quality, all hardware was included and packaging was better than expected. More to come...

Tough to make this thing fit, but its doable...just alot of readjusting and making sure all parts are lined up exactly. A lift helps ALOT!!
Next up will be the Tanabe Touring Medallion exhaust...built like OEM style muffler just slightly larger piping.....see how that one fits.

Isis is big with the 240 world... people have said the stuff doesn't last more than a year or so with rust appearing after! Enjuku is dealer! I'm using a 3" down pipe from them with no issues so far after over a year!

1)I had extra money to spend, and my stock exhaust is still in good shape.
2)I wanted something a little deeper in tone, and because alot of other people probably have seen it and were wondering about it as well.
The most I'd be willing to spend on an exhaust is around $1500 or so. It was only $520 so its not like it was alot of $$$.

The exhaust I was skeptical about, but I figured for the price it wasn't much of a hit. And now I know it doesn't fit.
On a side note, I didn't purchase from Enjuku...it was another vendor that I've done business with for several years now, and have spent around $5000 or more with, and they've always backed what they sold.

Looks almost identical to what I have, except the resonator. Keep in mind, the only previous companies that I've bought exhausts, full or cat-backs, were either Apexi, HKS, Cobb, and Tanabe. I've purchased several versions of the Apexi GT-spec for various turbo cars, but I have NO experience with Motordyne, or alot of other Z exhaust makers.
So if I budget myself again for around $1000....what would you recommend. My goal is lighter weight, fit and finish must be PERFECT, and sound I could go either way with really, but I'm more towards the quiet side now. I've had loud exhausts in the past....I'm past that stage with the Z.

Tanabe quality is great, and their lower end exhaust is quiet. I'd recommend a Greddy TiC / RS but they are loud in both single and dual. The Greddy SE is a nice axel back, and you could get a new y pipe to match.
Motordyne is cool but I've never used them.

I might just pony up the few extra $ and get the Nismo and be done with it.

Haven't ever used Invidia on any of my cars....I've heard Youtube clips of what they sound like though, but its hard to get an accurate depiction from there, quality of the camera used, distance away, etc. Some sounded nice, others were raspy, and others I believe seemed like they had other exhaust mods done aside from just the catback. I don't plan to change my headers or cats anytime soon either.
