Default 370z test pipes on 350z?

hey guys i just want to confirm that the 370 tp's are a direct bolt on for 350s? and are these genuine megan racing? http://www.ebay.com/itm/MEGAN-JDM-TE...ht_4350wt_1038

i plan on running those and getting a godspeed knockoff hks exhaust. after the stock headers will the exhaust diameter be 2.5" all the way back? i would like to keep the same diameter the whole way through. and just for the track when i spray nitrous id like to throw some electric cutouts on there, i know this will require some modification to the pipes, but my question is should i put the cutouts in one of these two places:
or should i try to get some pipe and flanges and weld them directly after the test pipes? thanks

I don't know for certain, but I would be shocked and amazed if 370z test pipes fit on a 350z. Do you have a DE or an HR?

Not certain about 350Z-370Z test pipes. If you need pipes for a 350Z then buy them for a 350Z. There are plenty available for about $140.

You have marked 2 points on the exhaust: one before and one after the resonator. Either will be fine for cutouts. AFTER the resonator looks like a suitable length of pipe to work with.

A simple test pipe such as about is also suitable for mounting electric dumps.

Why are you worried if they are true megans. You will probably get the same performance if they are not. Plus you are gonna run a knock off exhaust and are worried about legit megans? Just buy parts for your 350, do not worry about parts from 370's.

that would be very dumb to try and fit 370 test pipes when u can buy direct fit ones for the 350..i can almost guarantee they will not work, also the hks knockoff exhausts are the worst thing made for a z besides the stillen supercharger kits...garbage!!!

the reason im looking at 370z tp's is because from everything i have read they seem to be identical test pipes to the HR. and i have a HR, nobody makes resonated test pipes except for FI and gtm as far as i know for the HR. and they are well over like $300. these megans are resonated and "should" fit my HR for about $150, get it? also what makes the knock offs so bad? tons of people seem to be running them plus they are just pipes, dont really see how they can be too much different than HKS other than the bends and welds, all which can be fixed relaticely easy if there is a problem..

You're clueless and wasting your money. Listen to people who know what they're talking about. Godspeed is total garbage.

You have to just bite the bullet. The Z is not a cheap car, parts are gonna cost a pretty penny, suck it up instead of trying to buy parts that in the end wont work.

350z HR & 370z test pipes are the same. I have an 08 350z and ordered a 07-09 350z/ 09+ 370z CNT 2.5" resonated test pipe. I cost me $199 shipped. Part #s were the same on the HRs & 370z on the test pipes that I considered buying at the time. Fit was good.

As others have said, 370Z test pipes will only fit VQ35HR equipped 350Zs. The DE Header/cat (testpipe) flange is different. But the Cat-Back flange is the same, so for example if you wanted to run 370Z/HR Headers (since they are equal length) all you would have to do is switch to an HR/370 Testpipe.

Just pick up the Fast Intentions Long Tube Headers and do that route, 5% modification to make it fit and you have lots more power.

Spend the money and do it right the first time.

Here is the game plan. Save $1800 buy a Motordyne system with ART Pipes.
