I just got My Stock exhaust changed because it was rusting and Installed One Of those Walker Exhaust I got from RockAuto. Com. I'm not happy or pleased with the sound. It sounds nothing like the stock exhaust. It's rather really quiet and flat, doest give that much growl at all unless I smash the gas. I'm also concerned that with the new exhaust, I'm getting water from the exhaust and smoke. Is that normal when a new exhaust is installed?

Walker mufflers have been around as long as cherry bombs etc.
This is basically a Midas type muffler.What you are experiencing...flat--blah sound is about it.Its a better exhaust for a 4 door Buick.

^this. I actually just put a walker muffler and pipe on my winter beater because its cheap and fits like OEM. It's an aftermarket brand places use for a cheap replacement when sound/look are not as much as a concern as price or ease of installation.

 

You can buy a stock used stock exhaust system on THIS very forum for under $50; I have also seen some members giving them away for free to clear out space in their garage/basement.

 

so chuck norris makes exhuast sytems now? do they come w/ titanium burnt tips and go brapp brap burh win you hit teh throttle?
