Default CAI vs short ram

Im looking to get some sort of aftermarket intake, im new to modding and just recently got my Z so take it easy with me. i have an 06 6MT stock with 44k mi.
I was wondering on what you guys think are good options and why.
i know that the JWT is very popular for this car (i dont know why though)
I've also read that some intakes actually cause HP loss and the best thing to do would be just to buy a K&N drop in filter.

Please advice, comments, opinions, experiences... Thank you!

YEP...THIS A WELL DISCUSSED TOPIC.

***The stock air box is excellent.Dropping in a K&N is a great mod.
***JWT POPCHARGER is popular because...its cheap/works pretty good/easy install.
***Don't expect a big power increase when installing a CAI over the stock airbox with a
K&N.
***Guys install a CAI because they look good/car sounds good.
***The use of a CAI is good if its PART of other mods(exhaust, spacer etc).
Put e'm all together, get a tune...you will get the full advantage of the mods.

Several problems with this post.

1. This has been covered a billion times before
2. There's a search bar that you need to use
3. Your in the interior exterior sub-forum asking a question about intakes

Put your flame suit on dude!

"Which gasoline provides the best MPG/HP ratio? 87, 89 w/ Ethenol, 91, 92, 93 with Ethenol or 110 Race Fuel? Also, will replacing the spark plugs with glow plugs give me the diesel turbo sound?"

yeah, those are ridiculous questions too.

Damn dude....ummmmmm a intake is really pointless but a short ram will make the most noise and less riskier to sucking up water.
