Youll probably lose a little power if you straight pipe it all the way back, you want to keep some kind of crossover.

I have mine fully welded and there are no problems. Some may not recommend this since If I want it removed Ill have to chop it all up, but no funny noises coming out of mine. Ive heard that the H pipe is a major source of such noises, Id have them weld it in or at least inspect more thoroughly. Get a different shop to look this time.

In regards to the resonators being removed, youll get a lot of rasp when you get on the throttle if you do this, especially above 3500 rpm. Is this the noise youre talking about?

Its normal on the borla... Mine dose it when i rev it and let go, you can hear it like a second right after you release the pedal. Guess Thats Borla for you.
Ther has been lots of discussions on that Topic before guess its the H pipe?

you can always add the magnaFlow X pipe Muffler. I have it and have never installed it hahaha been like 3 years now. Also have TurboXS test pipes, i need to install those as well.
Been planing on installing my test pipes soon, hopefully... this time for reals! lol

From Wht I'm hearing they do it a lot does anyone know if the magnaflow xpipe would eliminate the buzzing. And to the guy who asked the buzzing is at all times when it decelerates revving

It's most likely the H Pipe. The H pipe on a borla is actually two pieces that you clamp together. The connecting pipe doesn't fit very snuggly, and the clamp sucks. Over time, the two parts will rattle together. This is what happened to mine, and yes, it is a very common problem. Just have it welded....should only cost like $30. Cheaper than buying a whole new X-pipe.

This could definitely be a problem..I had a nasty buzz/rattling sound coming out of mine when decelerating due to old worn gaskets. You should always replace these when changing out exhaust parts, dont reuse.

Could be lots of things, really. But when somebody says the words "Borla" and "rattle" it is usually the center of the H pipe. I had never heard of this problem when I first assembled my Borla, but could tell just by looking at it that it was a weak point. The pipes didn't fit together well -- very little "overlap" for the clamp to work on.
