For less than $400? Without it sounding terrible? I dunno...I'd stay stock, or look into a set of test pipes...or keep an eye out on the used marketplace

High pitched?
For $400 you are not gonna find anything worthwhile.
Maybe a used system.Check the marketplace or Craigs
in your area.I sure don't recommend it,but you can go
to a independent muffler shop and have e'm cut&weld
something. You sound that you are not really interested in quality.

You'll be a "stunna" alright if you go this route.

Practically your ONLY option is an ebay exhaust. Not sure what you mean by high-pitched....

OR! you could save that money for a nice exhaust. why you trying to rice already?!?!? for 400$ you could get a one of the following: set of test pipes, shop to cut of your muffler and put a tip on, or ebay exhaust. I would save my dollars....

Wow, that's quite the request, oddly, it's something every other 350 owner *doesn't* want

Anyway, seems the DC sports systems are cheap and give high pitched rasp...

Take out the mid resonator will do something very similar, plenty of youtube vids of that.

Sorry there are so many asshats making unhelpful replies,Ebay offers some deals and some that aren't. I bought an Ebay exhaust for about 300 shipped. its an HKS knockoff and the workmanship and fitment are flawless; check my pics. The sound is awesome and it feels to have gained a little midrange to boot. look for fusionetics Ebay store, they are in McKinney Texas. Good luck

Check the SoCal marketplace, there's a HKS for 500.

I would start here:

https://my350z.com/forum/intake-exha...s-on-ebay.html

Or search the classifieds for something used.

Your budget of $400 won't get you much....

im surprised how ignorant some of these long time members are. There are PLENTYYYY of exhausts you can get for around 400. There was the tanabe hyper that was selling for 400. Hks knockoffs for 400 or less. And I have seen a couple nismo exhausts selling for 400 plus stock exhaust trade. Just gotta look around.

+1 yep, ya just have to look, there's some cool folks here on this site and lotsa great info, but it seems there are a number of prolific posters who hold themselves out to be the judge and expert of all things Z but only offer flames and negative opinions along with veiled and open insults , never anything constructive, never have understood the lack of civility from so many Z owners, even the Vette forums aren't this bad.

Just gotta learn to ignore it, although it does seem to frustrate people sometimes when people post same question over and over again.
