will the supercharger plenum from the 3.3 frontier fit the vq35de?
^^^that's basically what im wondering im planing on going supercharged because i have a turbo 2jz already so this seemed like the next step, im hoping i don't have to make a custom intake plenum and that i can get the 3.3l supercharged frontier to fit in some way but if not ill just make one so no biggie.
if anyone has any incite on this please feed me your knowledge
thanks

if you love that engine, then swap one in.
IMO, zero point.
adding it to the top of a VQ35...meh.
If the plenum fit and also made sense, countless ppl here would have already done it.. since ive never heard of it once, ill say the answer is tentatively NO but could not tell you exactly why.
Your research is best left to other options tho.

well first off i didnt say anything about liking the 3.3 im more interested if the plenum that the supercharger bolts to would fit, and why would it not make sense i called stillen and the verified that its the same supercharger that's in there kit so it doesn't seem pointless to me, it seems more like cheap fun....

No need to argue..just pointing out the rationale of it all..
you apparently called Stillen n.got ur own answers.. which is always adviseable..so there ya go..
Im sure that have been many thread views but few replies..and again..if it had been done before it would have popped up before..so ur still back in the same place.... doing it first yourself.

your reading skills must be poor, i called stillen to confirm that the charger was indeed the same as the one in the kit, but that wasn't my question to the people of this forum..... lol

Please post pics and let us know how your research goes!

that is the sc right?
VG33ER
The 3.3 L (3275 cc) VG33ER is supercharged and produces 210 hp (157 kW) at 4800 rpm with 246 lb·ft (334 N·m) of torque at 2800 rpm.
It being based of teh VG engine I would say it definetly is highly unlikely it is a direct bolt on. I have always wanted to see a custom lower intake manifold mated to a Eaton M90. So many in junk yards so in expensive.
for a maxima We would need a bracket madethe the belt is right where motor mount is. Custom double pulley off the crank and relocation bracket with a pulley or two to move the belt around the motor mount. I have always been surprised no one has designed this but I understand why. Probably have hood clearance issues as well as needing two machined custom parts...
