Correct me if I am wrong, but it should dyno higher then RWD because FWD has less parasitic loss.

FWD does dyno higher than RWD. But his maxima has the 09 maxima swapped into it. The 09 maxima motor has the VQ35HR heads. It has bigger intake ports and variable exhaust valve timing and 75mm throttle body.

bigger intakes have been proven to provide gains, but nobody makes them

I need to get my hands on a adapter plate so i can bolt the larger throttle body onto by G35

Yeah but thats not what im saying. A RWD VQ35 should still have good gains from the stock size intake/maf to a 3.5 or 4.

Hardly anything is made for the FWD guys! Just because its not being made don't mean anything.



With the New Haltech full ecu replacement if i had a Z id be running a custom intake manifold with a 90mm LS tb. The haltech should be able to run that tb perfectly. I guess i think outside the box too much lol

i have talked with them and he is going to start later in the year possibly, with all the 2013 cars coming out he has to start from scratch on those projects before he starts a new project will keep you all updated.
