Angry Body panels that rasp at 3K RPM by mid pipe? (Aggravating)

I just put in a new exhaust and I still have this annoying rasp at every gear shift. Are there any heat shields or thin panels in that area that can be removed? Is there anything else that could be resonating at 2K and 3K RPM?

No brother it's rasp, what exhaust? That's what I said in another thread the quality of an exhaust denotes the sound.

It's an N1, but the rasp is in the exact same place as before. I know there are some thin panels down there that will resonate.. Mid Pipe is 2.5" now not 3"

Check those plastic panels to the left and right near the midpipe just downstream from the ends of the cats. I noticed they rattle and have play in them when you hit them with your hand. Noticed it when I installed my Borla. But unsure if they actually rattle from the exhaust.

I'm not familiar with that exhaust but my Borla was "vibrating" on one of the right hangers and it would make this horrible rattle/squeaking noise.

Personal experience but to me, Y pipes have always produced more rasp than true dual. It really comes down to "flow" because true rasp/buzzing/droning is from the exhaust waves bouncing off of each other at certain RPM's.

So I heard.
