Default Skunk2 Plenum spacer question(s)

I'm wondering if any of you guys have the Skunk2 5/8 plenum spacer on your 03-05 non rev up engine.I,ve been told in order for it to give any power you have to get the engine tuned. Is this true?
It would be the newer style so leaks wouldn't be a huge issue(as I've read anyway).
So if you or someone you know has it in please let me know your impressions.
Thanks in advance

You shouldn't *need* a tune to get something out of it.

I have the Motordyne 5/16th, i got improvement right from the install, it's since been tuned for even more effectiveness. No leaks, they have great pre-applied gaskets on the MD units.

OP, if you would have done a simple search for "Skunk 2 Plenum" you would have found the following threads:

https://my350z.com/forum/intake-exha...um-spacer.html

https://my350z.com/forum/intake-exha...um-spacer.html

Regarding a tune, you should reference post # 8 within the Top 100 FAQ:

This plenum spacer has been around since 2006, obviously there is a ton of info for it already on the forum and you should do yourself a favor and search frist rather than making a thread first
