I love it and can really feel the difference. But no dynos. I've had the stock air box, stock w/ K&N drop in, Injen CAI and the Typhoon and I like the Typhoon best. Very similar to the Injen but the Typhoon has CARB EO#.

i'm in the same boat with failsafe. i love the new sound, very noticeable power gains, and design of the typhoon. i've yet to dyno the car, but will probably going soon (before i put on an injen straight tip exhaust). the only issue i had was with the install. getting the snorkel onto its connecting pipe to the airbox in such a small/tight space, was a pain in the @ss, although everything else went smoothly. all in all i'm very pleased with the typhoon intake and would recommend getting it.

Same.

I'm very pleased with the fit, finish, sound and noticed a fair amount of midrange grunt that didn't used to be there.

Measured on the ol' butt-dyno of course.

Someone posted somewhere that the box was pretty cheap and didn't fit great. What do you guys think? I'm serioiusly considering this as my next intake if my Injen doesn't pan out.

The box fits fine- but it's made out of metal (only cover is CF)- I wrapped the out side of mine with some heat tape and plan to insulate it better in the next few weeks. The metal box is my only real complaint. Would have been much nicer if it was plastic similar to the stock airbox.

here is a thread to check out....

https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....install+review

The sound is nicer then the NISMO / INJEN / AEM because the filter is closer.. i like how the pipe includes the MAF Sensor housing... BUt... I like the Stock tube and JWT pop charger better...
