Default Tanabe Exhaust, I Want Your Opinion!

Shooting for a good sounding exhaust that will be fine for NA at a somewhat reasonable price, but you get what you pay for... So I've Been Looking at this Tanabe Medallion Touring Exhaust. Any Comments or ideas for a different exhaust setup?

You can buy my invidia Gemini it's a true duel. I'll be asking $800 shipped OBO later in today when post the thread. Look it up, I love it. Just have some school bills to pay. Mine has less than 6k miles on it

Lots of sound clips on youtube everybody has different ideas in what sound good to them. Always remember you get what you pay for in quality of construction.

Great exhaust, very quiet for normal driving, no drone. Even with test pipes and headers. Great tone at WOT , much better in everything than NISMO IMO . I had one at first. Perfect for a DD and for places that cops crackdown on exhaust.

YouTube has lots of audio clips so I'd recommend starting there too.

srs? now I need sound clips. I was going to go back with nismo bc of the raw sex sound with test pipes

I have a single tanabe. Loud, but not as nutty loud as other single exhausts out there and has limited drone on the highway. Extremely light weight.

Nismo with test pipes has a lot of rasp, Tanabe with test pipes has little to no rasp.

But it's not a true duel... Maybe I'm bias but I won't go back to an aftermarket exhaust that is single outlet. The actual gains and advantage a true duel offers I believe is better

Tanabe was my first exhaust, not a true dual.. very loud, but i loved it at first... hated driving next to police shifting at 2k rpms lol. i have a video of it somewhere.

remember it will yield little to no hp

NA, true dual only adds extra weight. No advantage in HP

Thanks for the inputs, for my price range it seems it's a debate between the tanabe or invidia true dual. Hrrrrm

I have the tanabe medallion with Art pipes and it is a great combo along with the resonated section. It is on the loud side, but virtually no rasp just aggressiveness.
