Default Which one is more worth the money: Art pipes or tdx2??

Hey guys,

I want to get either the art pipes or tdx2. Don't want to get both because I don't want to be pulled over. I used to run art with nismo exhaust and I loved it, not too loud but very deep. But I want to try the tdx2 too since everyone says its so exotic sounding. Which one is more worth the money?? Is there a big performance diference after installing tdx2 like the arts or is it minimal?

Exhaust won't give you near as much power as the ART pipes. Easy choice if you're going for performance. If you're going for sound, TDX2 wins, of course.

The TDX2 sounds like no other, a very pure exotic note I loved. But for money : power ratio, I would say the ART's, dyno I had showed +7whp +8tq or something along the lines of that. If you're looking for power, ART's. If you're looking for sound more than power, TDX2.

Testpipes pretty much takes the glory in terms of gains. Exhaust is there mainly for sound

do you guys know if the tdx2 can be custom ordered with different exhaust parts? I know the v1 let you choose among hfc/straight/resonator for the xyz portion. Does the tdx2 do the same?

The reason you can get an hfc/resonator/straight is because of the XYZ pipe, the TDX2 is different. However - You can order the TDX2 with HFC's built into the midpipes, you'd have to call them to order that, believe its +$200 on top of the price.

u have the tdx2 or v1 bro? And do you have them with the hfc midpipe or straight?

How much quieter is it with the hfc mid versus the straight mid pipe sections?

Tdx2. I got it used but I believe it was straight pipe. I can't answer the second question cuz I don't have both haha

Ive contacted two vendors and they are both telling me I cannot order the hfc midpipes, it comes just the way it is. Is this true? Or should I order directly from motordyne??
