Default Invidia N1 exhaust question

for those that have had this exhaust. I have a 2006 enth
1. Is it really as loud as people say?
2. Hows the drone?
3. Does it get annoying as a daily driver? ( i shift around 3000 rpms )
4. is there a chance i get the hiss after revving? if so how can i get rid of it.

Thanks

Heard one with cats still installed and it was pretty tame. Like Bmurray said, you'll only get the hiss with test pipes. It's generally a rule of thumb that most exhausts are going to be fine with stock cats, usually the sound is only loud when test pipes or HFC's are installed

i have it on mine and daily my car. i only have the exhaust and nothing bc it's pretty loud. no hissing or anything which will happen i know if i upgrade anything else. i think they make silencers for it as well if you want to look into that option.

I recently bought one, and the guy who sold it to me included silencers. You could always just see how you like it without the silencers and if it's too loud, you could pick up a set of silencers.

Mine aren't that loud... but at WOT, it screams death.

Stock Headers -> Motordyne ART Pipes -> Motordyne Y Pipe w/ Resonator -> Invidia N1

The sound is really low pitch and has a nice growl to it. It may be loud to some, but not to me. I have a slight exhaust leak due to the Y-pipe not sitting on the flange properly so once in awhile it'll squeek at 4-5k RPM. Daily driving is fine, I do 40 miles round trip on a daily basis, but find myself shifting around 2700, after that, it gets a little bit noisy.

I threw away my silencers because it sounds really high pitched at WOT, kinda annoying IMO. The drone isn't as bad as most people said it would be, I honestly don't notice it, but sometimes it's rather hard to hold a conversation in my car especially on the freeway.

only bad thing about the invidia n1 is that the inlet to the midpipe is 2.5".. all aftermarket y pipes have a 3" outlet so you would want to keep the stock y pipe with the n1 catback.
