Test pipe install
You shouldn't be getting the CEL if you have the 03. You're fine. I had Helix test pipes on a long time ago, now I have resonated TopSpeed pipes. No problems. Just to be safe, I would disconnect your battery before doing the exhaust modification.
It won't mess up your ECU.

Yes, or have your tuner disable the sensor. If your emissions requirements don't need sniffers, you will pass testing. Computer will just read the sensor is Not Ready, but doesn't count as a code.

I have berk technology test pipes. And I am throwing the Lean code p1273. Probable causes being A/F sensor problem, vaccuum leak, or I might need a tune to correct the problem. I am thinking of getting a tune after I throw on my plenum spacers in a month or so. Also when I let off gas at 65+ mph I can here a hiss coming from the test pipes. Does this sound like a leak? The code didn't come on until a week after my test pipe installs and after I went full WOT to show off to a girl -_-
I wonder if disconnecting the battery for 30 mins would correct this problem, provided its not a bad sensor or leak?
