exhaust options
I've had my 03 touring lady now for a while recently put a jet pop charger on her ( thumbs up BTW) but I have a little situation for an exhaust set up. I ran on a bad coil pack for a day and destroyed my cats. I was thinking of acat back system but not really trying to replace the cats so no cat back should I get a test pipe and wait for a cat back or go straight exhaust? I talked to a shop today about just flat out removing the resonators/cats and getting a bigger pipe but leaving stocks muffler/tips what advice can you all give me for the best deal with ought throwing a grand at a pipe?
It depends on what you want.
You can find plenty of stock cats for sale here in the classifieds.
If you don't want to go stock and not break the bank, I would do Berk HFCs with stock exhaust and go from there.
Sounds and looks stock except louder.

Advice?
Post in the proper forum for starters, you will get more responses.
Tip two is quit being cheap.
Then of course you can ignore me because I am mean, in which case I think the post above mine hit the nail on the head. Find some used cats and drive on.

Well I assume you are in Hampton Roads somewhere, and I know some people claim the cops can be strict with loud exhausts, although it depends on the area you're in. When I lived in VB (Oceanfront area), I had a Injen SES with factory cats on my Z and never had problems. Keep that in mind, since no cats and a catback will be fairly loud and you won't want a bunch of fix it tickets.
They mostly focus on the Honda kids in the area. I might get some test pipes and go straight back. I listened to some videos and doesn't seem too loud. Just wondering now if I should get flexible test pipes or not

Yes you can just buy test pipes, or HFC's and save for an exhaust. Regarding your options you need to determine cost first, then if you want single or dual, then you can start to narrow it down.
