The position of the plug does not matter..its the direction of the MAF I was referring to..Look in pic#1 where the bolts on the MAF are facing towards the rear of the car...Tis is the mistake I made and overlooked..The MAF in Pic #1 is backwards!!Meaning it is reading the wrong direction of airflow and caused the car to not start or stall out quickly..This was prbably the problem in your case..when you reinstall the stock airbox the MAF can only go in one way..Facing the front of the engine is the correct way as in pic#2..Its so simple and staring you right in the face, yet it took me 6hours to figure it out.. This is 99% the cause of your problem seeing how it worked when you put the stock box in..The other 1% is there is a blockage in the CAI like some packing material stuck in it...Hope this helps..

No offense Daking but a pic isn't going to help. No doubt being backwards could cause a problem. But in a picture, a twist or a flip can look exactly the same with a cylinder.

HUH?Look at the first pic..The bolts on the black MAF sensor are facing up...On pic#2 they are facing down...Do you see what I am talking about??

Ok I see that then. The pic angle was different and I wasn't looking at the silver part. I was looking at the actual MAF and the sensor position.
