not enough people running JIC bars to consider a new design IMHO.

Read the first post. Also, pricing will be between 100 and 600 for the plastic plenum.

This sounds awesome

Keep stock strut bar - EXCELLENT (this is why I skipped crawford)
Better Performance - EXCELLENT (that's the point)
Looks - GOOD (always a plus!)
Keep engine cover - GOOD (I like the cover. Others won't care)

As for the JIC bar, I don't have one and don't care. I think the JIC bars are pretty rare.

This is sounding great. I would love to see you post the following;
Pictures
A description of the design (theory of operation)
Any technical details you can share (I love to know that stuff)
Maybe some dyno runs before and after?
Pricing!

That is a pretty wide range. I think maybe he was asking for them to narrow it down when possible.

For $100 it is a no brainer.

For $600 I would have to think twice and see dynos.

I certainly would prefer it to look nice and clear the stock STB, as I don't have the JIC one. I desperately want to pick up the Crawford plenum, but I just can't bring myself to do it, since I'll have to replace the STB with theirs, so having this new one that doesn't require a STB replacement is ideal. I say go with the one you've got.

I think you are getting the hint, stick with stock bar. Few people running JIC and how many of those will buy the plenum. I don't think you will lose many sales to JIC customers but you might to ones that cannot run the stock bar.

I agree with everyone else, forget about the JIC bar. I dont think enough people have it anyway. I will be buying this as soon as it is availble.

Cant wait to see the Pics and the Dynos

There are more of us running the stock bar than JIC. Keep the design it like it is to suit the masses.

I've got the JIC bar, but if this plenum works.... I'll go back to stock in a heart beat!! Don't bother making two different ones. Keep production/R&D costs down and pass the savings on to us!!!

forget about JIC...

BTW, what type of plastic are you using for this? I know crawford talked about the top of there plenumn flexing when under hard throttle. This is because they deleted the factory center supports. So whats to keep this plastic plenumn from flexing even more?
