Question ? for DIY aftermarket exhaust/cats installation

Just a kinda dumb question for DIY people who have installed their own exhausts/ Hi-flow cats at home:
Did you weld the connections or just bolt the flanges??
I am hoping to install both this spring-- just wondering if they come with the necessary hardware for bolt up or is welding a must?!?
Thanks in advance!

Just bolted them with new gaskets as needed. Some prefer welding on the Borla since there are many pipes and some people have trouble with the H pipe connections. Also you shouldn't need any extra bolts than come with it.
I doubt many folks can DIY welding

Jack stands on the rear. Get some penetrating lube to ease removal of the exhaust from the rubber holders.
Check out this link for great info:

I watched the stillen guys do mine. They first sprayed every screw with wd-40 and they also sprayed the rubber hangers to make them slippery. Then they loosened all the bolts from the cat, back. Then when those bolts are loose but not taken off all the way, go back to the stock muffler piece and take those bolts off all the way. They used like a large crow bar/breaker bar to slide the muffler out of the rubber hangers. You might need a hand here to hold the muffler, that muffler is pretty heavy. But once it's off the hangers it just falls away. Then just undue the rest of the bolts and pull out the mid pipe then the y-pipe. The cat's you need a special 02 sensor wrench. Anyways, some of the bolts were pretty tight on the cats, and it took a while for my muffler shop to get it off. But everything just slid back on and bolted on, no problems. A lift would be easier but i guess it can be done on some jack stands. Maybe do the catback yourself but do the cats at a muffler shop, it only cost me 60 bucks to do it and i thought it was worth it.
