exhaust becoming noticeably loud
i have a daily driven 07 350Z (HR) Enthusiast with BERK metallic HFC and a nismo S-tune cat back ( nismo y pipe). Have about 20k miles on the hfc and 45k on the exhaust.
I understand that my exhaust was loud to begin with, but now it seems like gradually its has become even more loud. And at wot it is sounding nuts (like straight pipes).
I haven't checked the exhaust yet, planing to get it checked tomorrow on my way to work.
I will check the HFC at the hanger welds, but any other things I should look for ?
Any ideas of what potentially could be wrong ?
Thanks

Test pipes are bullet proof more or less. I have heard of some cracking when paired with certain y-pipes. Nismo S-tune IIRC. But as long as you have good flexibility in your exhaust system you'll be fine.
HFC's are bound to fail sometime..

Check all the bolts on your flanges. It sounds like mine did when the exhaust rusted out and there was a hole that got bigger till the pipe broke. Since your exhaust is much newer your leak must be coming from somewhere else.
