They have integrated non-foulers. i.e. moving the 02 sensor farther from the exhaust flow.
That being said, my CEL is on, due to the ART pipes. Am I worried about it....nope.

https://soundcloud.com/afclemen/2005...art-test-pipes

There is another thread about art pipes floating around where someone points out that the "whooshing" sound comes from having art pipes ONLY.

It can be amended with the XYZ Pipe.

I have ART pipes ONLY, and I do notice the whooshing but it doesn't bother me that much. Many people complain about the rasp but thats the reason I got test pipes. Give the exhaust sound a lil character.

you will hear that with just plain ol test pipes also, it is because there is nothing there to restrict the flow of the exhaust like there is in a cat

yes. There is also a sound of quickly moving air (similar to aftermarket intake sound) when I let off the gas quickly. I wonder if that's with all test pipes or just ART pipes, I though perhaps its the air leaving the side chamber when the pressure drops.

Default ART pipe question ......!!!!

I had my installed art pipes today .. They look real nice on my Z! Lol .. Anyways .. My question is about the sound they're suppose to make .. Mine sounds like something is "rattling" when I'm steppin on the pedal and going over 3k rpm .. Is it suppose to make a sound like that or is it just suppose to be a "hiss" sound? .. The guy at the shop wasn't able to take off one of the o2 sensors off .. So I'm on one o2 sensor ( ima try to take it off my oem pipe tomorrow ) .. Is it cuz I only have one sensor on .. Or what?! Please help ! Thanks in advance !!

Sounds like the guy who installed em sucked if he couldn't find ways to take the o2 sensor out. Anyways, it sounds like it might be something from your exhaust making contact with something else. Have you checked underneath?

And I would get that o2 on asap.

I'm about to check tomorrow morning cuz it's really "rattly" .. I been reason that it might be some bolt that sticks out and touches the pipes so it makes that sound .. Ima check and I will try to get that sensor off my oem pipe .. I think I need to use that pb blaster stuff ..
