So Im having a hard problem with some god awful noise coming down off revs.
This is on a 2003 350 enthusiast. With Stillen Test pipe mid pipe and greddy Single tI Exit.
Normal driving around town and on the freeway both, anything around 2k ill get this god awful reverb from the exhaust, Its been on a lift a billion times as I work For Nissan getting its oil changed and just tinkering around. So I know this noise is not an exhaust noise from the pipe it self but more a vibration from the engine coming down from revs. Being a single exit I have one hanger close to the Greddy exit and one where the exit connects to the mid pipe but nothing from there to the header.
Anyone ever had a similar problem with exhaust vibrations? What did you do?

My **** vibrates like a **** between 2k-3k just like you describe. I just don't care at the moment lol. Can't seem to isolate it, and have access to a lift too. Bassani exhaust.
Try looking for places where the exhaust is really close to the bottom of the car, W brace, sub frame, wherever. If it's close somewhere, you maybe can wedge some **** between there to try and test/isolate the problem.

Well it's not vibrating against the car it's vibrating from the test pipe and making it's way to the Y pipe I've had it on the rack and sat and watched it do it just didn't know if and where someone had welded a hanger to the flooring of the car or what had been done to subside it. I mean I'm not running a cheap exhaust and it seems to just get worse over time it's gotta go!!!
