Default Stock exhaust without cats.

Good Afternoon, I am looking to get some opinions by tonight if possible. I am considering cutting the cats off the stock exhaust and adding piping until I can get a Y-pipe. Has anyone done this or know of someone who has. I have tried to look into this and I haven't found much of anything at all. Thank you!

Don't "cut" anything. They sell Test Pipes, which are bolt in replacements for the cats.

Look in the Exhaust section of the Marketplace.

I want it to sound good, it sounded good with both of those sets if clips. The exhaust seems to be around 1100$ just for the exhaust.

I should also say my car is a 08. I apologize for not saying that in advance.

What exactly are you trying to do? Eliminate the cats then get a Y Pipe? Or are you getting a catback exhaust?

I would like to stay at around 1000$ or less. Best nice non ricer civic sound and the power or torque I'm not concerned about.

I am not the smartest when it comes to stuff like exhaust, my question to you is what else would be needed if i would like to get this.

These arent just pipes i assume is that correct.

Just get a set of resonated test pipes or a lot of flacked have the 2.5 straight test pipes for nuthin crazy. You can be fancy and get a set of art pipes (really nice test pipes)and a motordyne xyz pipe ( y pipe) then take your pick of y pipe back exhuast. Just make sure you get the test pipes for the hr and not the de!
