Default Motordyne TDX-2 Installed w/ pics

Well I finally saved up the cash and purchased the highly coveted motordyne exhaust and it was worth every penny. I had the dealership install it and as usual they couldn't get it right. The exhaust tips are misaligned and can be seen in the pictures below. They are only slightly off, so I will leave them as they are until I take the car back to get my stillen headers installed.

The sound is mind-blowing and has little to no drone at low rpm and literally screams at WOT. Combined with my injen tuned intakes, the sound is mean but still a little high pitched. I will take a before and after video before I get the headers installed and hopefully it produces a deeper sound.

The performance was immediately noticed when I punched it but I know I need a tune to take full advantage of it. What is awesome is that the car no longer putters in first gear and everything feels so much smoother.

Looks is where it is at. I hated the stock exhaust with the enormous muffler and love how this one is all stainless and separates to he sides. As noted above, the tips are off but they still look astounding and appear much bigger than the stock ones.

I just ordered ceramic coated stillen headers and am waiting to get those installed before I drive out of state for a tune. I am hoping I will achieve 300 whp so I can begin working on drivetrain mods in order to use the added power.

Mods: injen tuned intakes, motordyne exhaust, and unorthodox racing crank pulley.

Car 2008 base w/ 44k miles.

Burnt tips were sold out and a few months back. Will purchase a set for the spring. Currently have 2 rolled stainless sets.

Straight from motordyne. Originally called about the HFCs built into the mid pipes but they didn't have them in stainless steel. So I decided to sell my art pipes and get headers instead. I don't think anyone else has the same setup and I'm looking forward to the dyno.

Just do it.

I felt the same way about it, and then saw some pics and liked it after a while. Never looked back after doing it.
