i am also thinking bout switching the y. deciding betweent the JAPTRIX one and the JIC one.

The reason I am looking into this Top Secret one is because of the weight reduction. I read somewhere that weights roughly 12lbs vs. the stocks 70 or so!?! How heavy is the Japtrix model?

No, no, no ! The 70 lb is the complete exhaust system (ie Y-Pipe, B-Pipe, and muffler). The Y-Pipe is much less than that. I forgot the weight but the Japtrix is 4 lbs lighter.

I just weighed the stock y-pipe and it only weighs 15 pounds, so I don't think Titanium is worth it, you can probably save more weight by laying off the chips for a week.

JIC is something like 3.16 at the collector... just like the single pipe of the NISMO exhaust..

Yes if you are trying to shave off seconds from your lap times but for the street is it really worth it to spend 3K for a full Ti system to save a few pounds, you could save more weight by buying a light weight set of wheels and still have money for a SS catback system.

And if you are trying to reduce your lap times then there are free ways to shave off more weight, like take the passenger seat out, remove the interior, radio...., take out power robbing accessories like A/C... And would probably only be after getting so good at the track that your technique is perfect.

we would gladly doa GB on the Ultiamte Y pipe......very light, all stainless, direct bolt on, and 3 inch collector.

Frankly, a Ti Y pipe is not worth the price of admission....
