Default Sebring exhaust?

So I just got myself an '04 350z touring.
I absolutely love it. She's my dream car and I plan on buying twin turbos for her about a year or two down the road. As for right now I'm going to do the basic bolt ons and I wanted to start with the exhaust system. I have heard sebring exhausts and I love the deep sound they have and I asked my local performance shop if they could install one and it turns out it would be a universal fit exhaust.
This brings up some concerns for me. I want an exhaust that would free up a good amount of hp as well as have a nice deep sound. Would the universal fit get in the way of my goal? Should I stick with an exhaust that was specifically made for my fairlady?
Thank you for taking the time to read my post

Don't like anything thats "universal" fit.
Is your selection of this exhaust due because its cheap?
I'd get a system DESIGNED For your Z.
There is more to a proper exhaust system than a bunch of
pipes welded together.
Whatever you choose, don't expect huge HP that you'll feel.
You may actually LOSE HP/torque with a crap system.

Never heard of a Sebring exhaust but if Jcity say is true then this may be a bad fitment issue. Be prepared to pay a lot of money to make it fit.

The look of it requires single pipe and cutting or welding. Possible 400 maybe... For that price get a Godspeed and pray you get minimal fitment issue.

If you are on a budget, Megan Drift Spec Single.... great sound, and it only costs ~$400.

If your talking about twin turbo down the road then don't cheap out on an exhaust there are plenty of option in the marketplace that will suit your needs used, and to save money why wouldn't you do it yourself you don't need to have a lift or be an expert its self explanatory down there.

Thanks for the input guys
And I want a sebring because I had one on my teggy and love the sound
It would be relatively cheap the shop owner told me $600
I'm not on a budget I just want something that I will like how it sounds and something that I can feel after slapping on
Now I've always gone to this shop and they do great work but by the looks of it i might have to choose a different exhaust
What would you recommend that has a DEEP sound and has a good performance boost?

Buy what you want, but this isn't going to happen. The OEM system is well-designed, and the Z isn't a Civic. You might even lose HP with the wrong system, although again, likely not a measurable amount.

I'm not expecting a huge boost
I know this will only free up a small amount of hp
Together with other mods is where you get your gains
I was merely asking recommendations on what perhaps you guys have and like

That's around what you can get with bolt ons
It's not like I'm ONLY doing bolt ons
For now I am but like I said I am looking into f/I for the future

I've heard very little recommendations for MD lately. Makes me sad.

I almost forgot: dreamer thread is dreamer.

OP - why waste money on mods that are not FI specific if that is your planned direction?

I know what you mean. I've been on the fence with it, it's a siginificant amount of money to put into a 10 year old car.
