Default 06 350z power lag fr8m 4800-5500rpm

Hey everybody, I recently installed a aem cold air intake on my z and all was good untill last week when it wouldn't go past 2500rpm and found out maf sensor got wet. I dried it all out and thankfully the upper pipe and throttle body had no water in it. So I got the aem bypass valve for good messures to avoid hydrolock, but now I'm having a problem with power lag at WOT ranging from 4800rpm-5500rpm and then all power is restablished. Been looking for a reason and now hit a dead end. Has anybody had this issue or know if the bypass valve could be the cause? Any help would be great thanks.

Even if check engine light isn't on, scan it to see what you come up w in there. Possible knock sensor or harness
