Another successful magnaflow x-pipe install
I had a magnaflow x-pipe (part no. 11386) welded into my Godspeed hks replica today. I was pretty impressed with the sound. No more rasp and no more sounding like a tractor. It did a great job of bringing back the unique vq exhaust note. Here's a quick clip I took today (I also have resonated test pipes, an aam plenum spacer, and a popcharger):
Sounds real nice; would like to hear it wrapped up a bit more on the road, but it sounds like a good deep tone. Definitely an improvement before and after vids.

Thanks for the feedback guys. In the next week or so I'll try to get a video of how it sounds actually out on the road. It really cut out most of the drone and it sounds like a VQ again. Its has a nice growl at low rpm and really opens up over 3k rpm.
@RawrXTC - I bought my x-pipe muffler from Summit. They do a price match guarantee and Advance Auto is currently doing a $40 off of orders over $100. I got possibly the best deal ever on that muffler. It's usually around $112 and I had it shipped to my door for $70.99.

Was your exhaust 2.25 or 2.5 because I've looked around and some say piping size 2.25 and others 2.5.... The M2 for example found showing different numbers or are they all the same and are referring to ID/OD? Just dont want to get the wrong sizes when it comes to ordering the X pipe which is 11386 2.5 correct?
Yeah I used the 2.5" 11386. The piping is very close to 2.5", just a hair smaller, but nothing to worry about when you weld the new muffler on. It's definitely bigger than 2.25"
