FWIW 2bad240 has been running OBX's on his car with a built engine for quite some time. He had nitrous, now he has a procharger and he's revving to 8k+. I think they'll be just fine provided the rest of your exhaust is hanging from the hangers and not only on the headers.

 

I believe he did change our his collectors though and Vband the setup.
