RSR GT II exhaust installed - pics
Put it on this weekend. First impression is that it's way too loud without the silencers, though it sounds amazing! With the silencers installed it's cool for commuting though, just a tad louder than stock.

#2 - What I meant to say was that it's way too loud for daily driving, at least for me. Backroad weekend jaunts are another story however

It will probably be at least a few weeks unfortunately. Ideally I'd like to go back and dyno stock then the exhaust and y-pipe. If I'm able to do this I'll definitely post the sheets.

I dyno'd 248HP and 246TQ with the mods on my sig. But hell yeah that exhaust is the loudest I've hear for the Z's. Was it a bithc to remove the silencers? Most people I've talk to had a hard time.

I had trouble getting the silencers out. I looked like a jackass sitting out in my apartment parking lot with some pliers jerking back and forth to get that one side out. Haha, and now i can't get that one back in. Its loud, but you get used to it

Please put them back in. I rode in his car and I had a smile from ear to ear. To loud for me but it was just funny watching people breaking their necks when they where staring.

Yeah, I've got the Rs*R exhaust too . . . people love to hear that thing go off, but, I'm on the road for quite some time each day, so the silencers went on
I do struggle sometimes to get the passenger's side silencer in/out. Pliers a must. I wish they were stainless and not mild steel though.
Costs that I've seen: $600-900. Guess which I paid

for anyone who is trying to decide on a exhaust the rsr is a awesome exhaust...rsr is the first company to come out with that style and make it work good....invidia is a copy and topspeed is a copy...koji from RSR dynoed the exhaust on a stock 350z and it made great power for a y pipe back...if you buy this system with a aftermarket y pipe (i recommend the unlimted tuning y pipe) you will see more hp gains than even with a true dual system...excellent choice. looks great!
