Interested in the strut bar but have the Crawford... If you can make one that will fit with the Crawford then count me in!

correct me if i am wrong but i thought the Gs don't need a strut bar. Someone tried it a while back and they said that they feel and got no difference.

I would be interested in the plenum.

I have a 04.5 G35 Coupe 6 Spd. and am VERY INTERESTED in the PLENUM, and Possibly the Strut Bar, but depends on the price.

When can the G35 Owners expect the PLENUM ?????

Adding a stut bar is not like adding a twin turbo setup.

I don't think there's enough clearance to make a stb to fit on top of the Crawford plenum. That's why they make one sits in front of the plenum..

Speaking for myself, yes, I would be very interested in your product wether it is just the plenum alone or the plenum/strut bar package. IMO the combo package would be most beneficial. Keep up the good work and thanks goes out to all_bark and all others who had a hand in bringing this piece to the market.

I have a G and would very much prefer a plenum with no dip over a strut bar.

I'm not saying either is doing a better or worse job... it's just a fact that you have to do some R&D to get these things to work no matter whose doing it.
Umm, Kinetix ECU? Do you mean all_bark didn't have enough dyno runs to show the proper gains for the KINETIX PLENUM? Keep in mind all_bark is not affiliated with Kinetix. This was an independant dyno. ALso, All_bark had 9 dyno runs.... That's not enough for you?

I'm not even sure what you're talking about? Can you try to be more clear. Because it seems like your information is wrong.

No, I'm not interested in a strut bar/plenum package. Im more interested in a plastic plenum without the dip for the strut bar.

There are over 100,000 G35 owners out there without strut bars. Think about it.

And out of that 100k maybe 1% Mod their cars. Where as it is more like 10% for the 350Z

No, I would like to have the plastic plenum without the dip (may cause for slightly higher HP/TQ gains...right?) AND without the strut bar.... The G35 Coupe does not need a strut bar... It is a coupe and naturally rigid whereas the 350Z is a hatchback which loses some structural rigidity...which is why the strut bars are needed.

That was the explanation as I understood it over a year ago.

Am I right? I dont know. Is Nissan lying? Shift_Maybe

PLEASE NO STRUT BAR... it all depends on price of course.... the strut bar will not help handeling...

Even if he was right, 1% of 100,000 is 1,000 POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS.... Thats alot of plenums!

Saying that this number is right.

1) This is the number of people who mod the G. Not the number of people who buy a plenum. Of the 1%, what percent mod with a plenum in their list? 10%? 100 people.

2) Of THAT %, how many like and want to buy the Crawford over the Kintetix, for whatever reason? 50%? 50 people.

Is it worth it?

Can Kinetix make more money buy changing the mold, risking short supply to the Z owners, thus losing revenue and possible loss to Crawford (or whatever is on the market at any given time)? I doubt it. You can't please everybody all the time.

I agree. The G's are an upper class car sold mostly to business professionals who are unlikely to mod their vehicles. The Z is sold as a sports car and by that very nature the people that buy a Z are more likely to mod because it is a sports car.

Just because aftermarket parts are made for a Toyota Supra doesn't mean the same aftermarket parts should be available for a Toyota Avalon or Lexus ES300.

Of course I have an agenda and would like the efforts of Kinetix be put into the development of the FI version for the 350Z. I believe that endeavor would be more profitable than developing a plenum for the few G owners.

Who knows maybe they can do both??

I think your line of thinking is regarding the rear strut bar and not the front strut bar. Since the Z is a hatchback, you are right in that it loses some structural rigidity. But that is why they come stock with that huge old rear strut brace support. I don't believe that the hatchback compromises structural rigidity in the front suspension. So the statement that the G35 does not need a strut bar in the front might be too broad of a statement. Would it help? Sure would. How much? I'm not sure.
