Why was the correction factor none? Shouldn't it be set to SAE?

Not being skeptical; I just want to make sure the dyno is valid.

It's basically the top part of the engine. It is where the air goes from the intake and gets directed it to the different cylinders. In theory, more air = more power.

Frankly, I'm surprised you were able to sign up for this forum and post a comment in this thread. Congratulations.

all_bark, thanks for being a great guy and taking one for the team. It takes some serious character to ignore throngs of idiots throttling you for dynos even as you are trying to post them on the forums, as can be seen in this thread in between your original posts. Great job!

that was the way they were all presented to me but when I have some time I can do them all ANY WAY THE PROGRAM ALLOWS. Tell me how you want them. Which runs, etc, etc. I'll be happy to do all of it. For now, if you want, ignore the numbers and look at the gains, or is that skewed?

Like the others Id like to know what effects the plenum would have on a stock car. Glad to see though after all those pages I followed for this that the results were positive

Cool, can you post the same chart but with RPMS.

And set the CF to SAE.

Also, set smoothing to 3 please.

awesome work man. I am curious to see the numbers on a stock car, not disputing yours in any way. just like to get a better idea of what they will do on my own setup.

Im sure it will happen eventually after its released.

The key is that all the dynos that are being compared are set to the same correction factor. It doesn't matter if it's set to1.00 or 1.05....as long as it's the same for all of them you will be able to see the gains. While it will affect the actual peak numbers it will affect them the same all around.

Does that make sense ?

My engine is bone stock, and I should have my plenum as soon as anyone... I won't be dynoing it, but the butt dyno is fairly accurate.

There is a dyno approx 1 hour from here I wouldn't mind going to. They charge $80 for 1 hour of dyno time. I would certainly go get the car a few base pulls, then some post-plenum pulls on a STOCK Z. I'm poor, is the only problem... I could adopt all_bark's method of taking donations, but won't consider this until I have my plenum AND talk to the shop tomorrow to confirm pricing.

Great job Joe. Are you going to show up at the next SD meet (this Saturday) so we can check out the plenum in person?

Default Looking Good Guy's - Good number's

Nice work All_bark and LSD Unique....

Very nice increases in HP and Great tourqe Numbers...

I can base line my Stock (Engine wise) Z and then put on a production LSD Unique Plenum...

I'll use the local Dynojet in Huntington Beach...

I'll test in 4th (5AT - Stock Rear End)

And make no changes other than Plenum ! About March Time frame.

Still sorting out Fethering/Bounce issues
Cheers Amy -
