Scavenging line between intakes.
Hey everyone. It's been a while since I've posted; but I have a question I'm needing answered.
Recently, I was in the engine bay cleaning up and taking all that plastic crap out of the bay when I noticed the scavenger line that hooks up the two intake pipes and down to the block was broken. I plugged the intakes and retrofitted a filter on the block so it'd at least breath.
What exactly does this do? I haven't noticed any degradation in how the motor performs but it still concerns me because it seems to be just pulling all hot air through the filter from the engine. Any help would be appreciated.
