Default Nismo s tune exhaust question

Is it possible to make the exhaust louder without tp's? Would changing the y pipe to motordyne xyz straight pipe help? Let me know your thoughts, thanks.

Louder? Why? S-Tune is one of the few that retain the sweet, "patented" and Nissan-tuned VQ sound through.

But if you gotta have the noise and risk-of-rasp without going with mods fore of the Y-pipe, remove the resonator.

Or just do a complete single like a Tomei Expreme aft of the Y-pipe.

Tangental sidenote: Other day, wife and I stepped out of our car and I hear someone's exhaust... "Hmmm, sounds like a Z...." I utter. Nope, FX35. Close enough for jazz.

Then maybe I'll just keep it the way it is because removing the resonator could cause loss of horsepower.

I'm just a purist so don't take my word as anything close to gospel.

To each they're own, but i love the note of mine - cat back S-tune w/headers. In fact, a lot of serious car guy friends think it's one of the nicest.

Love to "take the long way home" there's a underpass and i can't resist opening the windows and giving er a little s**t. That tune makes me smile

It's subtle after start up (which the neighbors like) and "beast mode" when you want it.

IMO - perfect!
