Default Need help NWP Throttle body problem

Just installed The NWP big bore throttle body and it keeps throwing idle air P0507. I've done the Accelerator Pedal Released Position
Learning Procedure, valve close, and Idle relearn. I have done this 3 times now and it idles just fine right under 1000rpms and is steady. It just keeps throwing the code. I'm getting worried that the TB might be defective. I feel like I might have lost power in the lower band until 5k. Not sure if that's what others have experienced? Not sure what else I can do other than getting a tune. I don't have the money for one atm. So plz post something helpful other than get a tune.

I mean, you can unplug the battery and completely drain power from the ECU over night and plug the battery up again in the morning. This will reset the ECU and it will relearn to hit its fuel targets (to an extent) Code may come back, it may not.

I would email NWP themselves and ask if they have any remedies to your issues. Down the road you will need a retune.

I heard that you have to get a tune after installing one of those big bore throttle bodies.

A tune is definitely recommended in order to maximize gains from installing a larger TB, but not absolutely necessary. Obviously, you're going to be running lean and it's not good to run like this long-term.

After I installed my NWP TB, my car didn't throw any codes and I didn't need to do any type of relearn or ECU flash/reset, but every Z seems to be different about throwing codes.

OP - did you mess with the butterfly valve at all during install or move it manually?

I think I figured it out my Z tube had a vacuum leak on the bottom of the tube I didn't see. Throttle seems to be back to normal.

I put on the old OEM G35 intake tube and all was well the whole day. I figured I fixed it and the code was just because of the vacuum leak but it's not. The light came back on after a cold start. Does anyone have the same problem as me with the CEL coming on(P0507) constantly even after all the pedal dancing?

put your OEM TB back on to replicate the problem. If the P0570 comes back then you know its not the TB, if the code stays away then you know the TB is the issue.
