Question Exhaust question

Sorry, I didn't see an exhaust section, please move if needed.

So my question. I have a 05 Anniversary edition. I know the AE has the HR motor, but are all test pipes the same for HR and DE?

If not I'm unsure what test pipes I should get. with the 05 being the first HR motor year, would Nissan carry over the DE test pipes on the early years?

Just so you know, the 05 AE doesn't have the HR motor, it does have the Rev-UP DE. The HR was only used in 07/08.

I didn't know. So, I'm looking for DE test pipes and forced induction for REV-Up motor.

To directly answer OP's question...

03-06 = DE
07-08 = HR

The test pipes/high flow cats are different between the DE & HR due to the length of the OEM exhaust manifold.

Typically aftermarket headers utilize DE fitment test pipes/HFCs.
