Hey guys just commenting on my first mod and asking a few questions. Decided to start nice and simple with my first mod and went with an injen cai. Dont really want to hear anything about this and that about all the other intakes and whats better. I like the way injen exhausts sounds and decided to stick with injen cai so when I get the injen exhaust it becomes a couple ^_^. Anyways, I was expecting to hear most of a wooshing sound when I Was speeding around with the car floored at the upper RPMs of i guesss more air coming in but after driving around for a day I realized my car actually sounded alot different as in the engine sounded significantly louder and that it had more of a deep throat noise to it. My gf didnt notice it till a riced out accord tried 2 cut me off and gunned it around him and she was like whoa... ur engine sounds deeper and louder... just curious if this is normal? or maybe there is something wrong? I dunno any kind of input would be appreciated thx. I really like that deep throat sound though, imagine how imma like that exhaust... waiting on the injen striaght tip to come to my door step....

 

some sound change is normal. not overwhelming ussually, but its there.

yes...an intake adds a deeper sound throughtout the engine.

 

try it with the short ram set-up configuration and it really screams above 4500rpms!
