No BS Question
OK,
BEEN doing A LOT of work on my 05 ZR. I already replaced the exhaust system. It came with test pipes but I did not install them leaving the cats alone.
My question, is this- how much ACTUAL gains in horsepower did any of you get by switching over to test pipes? As in dyno gains, quicker lap times or quicker runs on the strip?
Is it worth the effort on a bone stock motor?

Stitch did really well at the autocross this weekend. We didn't switch over to our race rubber, so with all the suspension upgrades in the front, even on Michelin Primacy tires, we had competitive times.
Just trying to be competitive. And have fun.

These are great cars to Auto-X with some suspension work, and tires they will hang with most.
