Torque specs
I just updated the site to include a few clearer directions on some of the steps and also included the torque specifications given by ludunique.

The finalized torque figure is 36 INCH/lb or 3 ft/lbs of torque.
It really doesnt take much with the soft gasket we supply, and the threadlock does the rest. I noticed the hiss as well, only when the hood is up, the engine is idling, and I have my head under the hood. The "growl" really is only audibly when stopped and the car is idling, or with the hood up.

There's also a tone that goes up with the revs, but dies down slower ... leaving a lingering tone in between shifts.
Only way I can think of to describe this tone is to relate it to the rev of a vacume cleaner. That may sound bad, but it isn't. You really got to hear it to appreciate it.

I am just worry about long term result from heat and stress from the engine which might crack these holes later.

LSDUNIQue, have you considered changing the plastic characteristics to strengthen it more? This cracking which is going on is really not a good sign.. This has to be addressed.
Im now questioning the durability of this is plenum. screw the performance if its not reliable. I dont want to hear hisses, or see cracks.

I just wanted to say thanks to Chris (and others who have installed) for this thread and especially the instructions. I'm sure it will save me a lot of time/trouble when I get mine in a few days. I can't wait!

but anyhow after i posted this I saw in another thread that they are doing a mold redesign, that looks promising and it shows that they are working to remedy the problem.

Hosting problems
Well, it was just brought to my attention that the Plenum Installation Instructions site (along with all the other sites and images) on my provider's server have disappeared?? A call to them only provided an answer of "server issues" .
Sooooo.....
I have just bought space on a new webhosting server. Unfortunately what that means is that I will have to wait until I get home from work today to upload the Plenum Install Instructions to the new server. There will be a "temporary" site location until my registered domain name is processed which they said could take up to 72 hours . Very frustrating.
So please bear with me until I get the site uploaded to the new location. It should be today.

The New Site is UP!
Ok, the Plenum installation page is back up but now it's on my own domain... www.350ZFreak.com!
Here's the direct link to the plenum install page.
Check it out. There will be a lot more to come on www.350ZFreak.com in the near future.
