Default SSR Engineering Intake Manifold *Pics*

Hey guys, here are some preliminary pictures of the unfinished progress on our G35/350z Intake Manifold, as you can see it features a new plenum and runners. Final pictures and pricing will be out very soon.

What is the benefit of using such a design?

Also, is this plenum open from the inside or dose it have some sort of channels?

Thanks,
Az

Add to those above questions the following:

1. Is this for forced induction or NA?
2. Has any testing been done to tune the plenum (assuming NA) or are you still constructing the prototype?
3. Where will the TB be located at? Front or in the rear like stock?

Open, the design increases flow and the accuracy of delivery. Usually stock manifolds aren't flowing equally to each runner, this one will, and the round plenum decreases turbulence, and restriction normally found inside of a stock intake manifold.

1. Both, but more towards Forced Induction.
2. Yes when it is complete we will flow test it to see how much it flows and runner distribution.
3. Like Stock.

Dude aren't ypu the guy who was making the turbo kit for the B15, blew up the motor, and disappeared. I hope everything works out for you here. I remember what happened on b15sentra.net. It was shameful

Well no, not necessairly we have other projects. One car blew up, it happens.

Anyhow, check out our altima for other cars, that pulled 348WHP/386TQ without blowing up

The manifold looks very "homemade". May need to refine it a little... Good concept though..

People blow up motors all the time. That's risk that one have to take to make that mad @$$ horsepower right? I call that ballz. You put your $hiet to the test, spend your money, test it, blow it up, and you do it again and make it better. It's through trial and error, that we then achieve and accomplish. Regarding your plenum design, I have a sketch of one. More of a V shape design instead. But still a plenum with individual runners. My design is also geared towards F/I. Would u guys like to weld a v-shape design too? Maybe flow bench both of them and see which one does better? I just don't have the materials, tools or time to build one, but I think a somewhat V-Shape design will create more turbulence and more of a direct shot to each runner instead. But over all, I give you guys props to make one and test it. Looking forward to your results...

Right but my point was that you posted a LOT of info about this great turbo kit and how it was going to make all this power. And how you guys had a great design...and so on and so on. Then next thing you know theres a video of a Spec V speeding through a parking lot to like 40 mph....no pictures are video or anything of the turbo kit running on the car. Then BLAM the next update (not from you by the way from soemone else) is the motor blew and then its a tyraid of posts saying how your going to build the block and still sell the kit and then nothing. You guys disappear. Now I here your selling the parts but no kit becasue you couldn't make it work. I'm just saying that (a) what you guys did there and (b) what happened to your reputation was shameful. I sincerely hope the same does not happen here. i personally never did any business with you so I cannot say for sure what happened all I can say is what I read and saw.

Well it's just the process, the finished product will look alot different. This picture shows a manifold about 60% finished.

And for pictures of the other design, sure, send it over.

Since it's replacing the runners, it will sit down in between the valve covers.
