I've had the DC Sports Headers on for nearly a week now. After 3 days or so the power really kicked in. Just as with the pully's and exhaust install, the computer took 3 days or so to realize the increase in power. It is very very apparant now. The power after 4k is great, pulls quite a bit harder than before. Go with DC sports for the money and nearly 12HP you can't go wrong.
nismo and stillen for the name and "quality" crawford because their a great product, even though their not widely known. Crawford has excellent service and products from all that i have read.
Superspring E46 M3 Headers... $1928

Welds?

Breathless Z06 Headers... $1450
<cough> Welds <cough, cough>
Guys... seriously NO MACHINE can bend tubing extremely tight. The headers you are seeing on ANY car with NO welds... are nice smooth mandrel bent setups with lots of room for pipes.
No V-powered Z has that room...
i.e. Stillen Headers... Z32 Non-Turbo

The extra welds are necessary. Mandrel bending machines cannot do compound bends unless they are generally 3" apart from eachother.
The machine needs the 3" or so of straight tube so it can grab it for the next bend, so if you have a 90 degree bend coming out of the header, followed by a 30 degree bend shooting off in another direction, they must be bent seperately then welded together.
This is why you dont see seams in headers like the borlas, or most of the "honda style" headers because they dont have close compound bends.

I can tell you this, they are some of the nicest fabricated peices I have seen. The flanges are completely CNC'd and all the welds are done on CNC robot welders. Very percise welds, very clean.
Well, I would like to know which headers fit well with an SC. I think that is on a lot of people's minds. I would think the crawfords, but I would really like to see crawford post some dyno results of just the headers, like 350Zteve just did for the DCs.
