Default CAI Not For 350Z Roadster ?

Was just on Stillen.com site and under AEM CAIs they state "( Exc. Convertible)"
Since AEM makes NISMO CAI does this mean both AEM and NISMO CAIs won't fit Roadster models?

Can anyone confirm?

Thanks!

The Nismo should fit...

Go with the Jim Wolf Pop Charger, gains are just as good if not better, the filter sits in the bay protected from water, and the sound is kick ***.

On the roadster, there is a large dampener/weight assembly right where some of the CAI intakes are routed. The AEM/nismo intake goes right where the dampener is. Stillen has a new shielded CA intake that will fit the either the roadster/hardtop, they must not have updated their website yet.

We've been putting the Nismo unit on.... you might want to ask Jason@performance , he'll know as he has been involved with several installs.

ok...

you can install it on the roadster... but it is set up a little differently and the filter site just a little bit lower and more forward then the jwt pop charger...

to install... from the top of the plenum to the MAF follow the directions accordingly... but... rather then use the water diverter and the longer pipe... just use the short pipe that goes between the maf and the water diverter and attache the filter to that piece... you basicly get a short ram...

Next time we install a NISMO CAI ill go out back and set it up like this and take a photo...

any one get headers to fit on a roadster yet?

I've got the Injen on my roadster, no problems. Install is straight forward. The only problem with the Injen and ALL 04 Zs is the hood stilt. Because they moved the hole for the stilt in the hood up, they also increased the length of the stilt. The longer stilt makes mild contact with the intake pipe that goes through the bumper.
