The Injen is beautiful... but a reminder to everyone considering this... it also comes with black hoses.

The red looks great against the black. I'm installing mine next week, as soon as my Crawford plenum arrives. Good luck & post if you feel a differnece w/ the intake and also if there is a difference in the way the motor sounds.

Default performance difference...

as a matter of fact... there is a noticeable difference in performance... i notice it pull harder about 4500 rpm & up... as for the sound, i thought i would notice that more than the performance issue, but not too much... it seems to "scream" a little more at higher rpm, but I think that could just be the fact that it seems to gain more revs at a higher rate than before... I'm sure it is slightly louder, but not very noticeable

Your machined bracket is on sideways.. the vacuum hose should be on the bottom not coming out the side. There doesn't seem to be any consensus on if the MAF plug should be on the top or side though. Mine comes out the top.

Here's what my install looks like

Looks a nice contrast, the red pipework with the black paint. Nice job!

I purposely put the "vacuum hose" on the side 'cause i like the look of being able to see it... seems kinda useless to have a nice red hose under everything where you can't see it... and my MAF is at the bottom for the exact same reason... it's "BUTT UGLY"... that's where it belongs
